The Dyfrig Room

The Dyfrig Room is a smaller, more intimate space, yet is as flexible as the St Paul Hall in its ability to be transformed into any arrangement you require. In Boardroom style it can easily accommodate 24 persons, and caters regularly for afternoon tea parties of twenty to thirty people. As a training room it has proved to be extremely popular in its horse-shoe setting of sixteen plus group leaders.

The room can be set up for weddings, Christening parties and wakes, or in any functional style that would cater for your needs.

Our in house caterers are happy to discuss your needs, and can cater for vegetarian, vegan and halal requirements.

The Pendarvis Room

This room is suitable for small meetings and training sessions. It can accommodate up to fifteen people, and seating is flexible.

This room is home to our weekly Job Club, and our Welsh
and Italian classes often meet here.

The room takes its name from the benefactors who gave the land and paid for the building of the former St Paul's Church, also commemorated in the name of the adjacent street, Pendarvis Terrace.
Sir Arthur Pendarvis Vivian, K.C.B.,  and his wife, Lady Jane Vivian were generous to many local causes.

Our room names

The Centre is named after the former Church of St Paul, standing adjacent to the land on which we stand.
The St Paul Hall is a testimony to the community that gathered for worship and socialising on this site for over 100 years.

The Dyfrig Room is named after another former church in the parish, and the Timothy and Titus rooms are named after the Biblical companions of St Paul.
